Kima uses only the best, pure and organic ingredients. We source our raw cacao from selected cacao suppliers who work directly with small farmers to ensure that farmers are rewarded a fair wage for their hard work. Our cacao is the Arriba Nacionale, which is a superior cacao bean from Ecuador that has not been roasted but cold ground to ensure the cacao retains all of its health benefits, namely antioxidants, the flavonoids.
Superfoods are a nutrient powerhouse that pack large doses of antioxidants, polyphenols, anthocyanins, vitamins, and minerals. At Kima we use these nature’s energy forces to boost our products with amazing flavors as well as create densely nutrient goodies.
Raw, unroasted nuts and seeds are nutrient dense foods with their enzymes still intact and complex matrices rich in unsaturated fatty and other bioactive compounds: high-quality vegetable protein, fiber, minerals, tocopherols, phytosterols, and phenolic compounds. By soaking our nuts and seeds in water, the phytic acid toxins within them are released by which enzymes come to life and are more easily absorbed.
